Finecobank, record funding in 2018: 6,2 billion

Positive December for Finecobank. The multi-channel bank of the Unicredit group closed the month with net inflows of 797 million euros, a strong recovery compared to the 205 million collected in November.

Despite the "rebound", compared to December 2017, net deposits recorded a drop of 19,3%. Instead, the entire year ended with a record: 6,2 billion euro in deposits, up 4%, while total customer assets reached 69,3 billion (+3%).

Going into details, assets under management in 2018 reached 2,2 billion, while assets under administration stood at 1,8 billion, while direct assets reached 2,1 billion.

As at 31 December 2018, Fineco Asset Management managed assets for €10 billion, of which 6 relating to retail classes and approximately 4 to institutional classes.

“Fineco closes 2018 recording a new collection record – commented the CEO, Alexander Foti – A particularly important figure for two main reasons: firstly because we have once again been able to win the trust of customers by focusing on the quality of our services, without resorting to aggressive commercial offers. Secondly, because this result was obtained in a particularly complex market context, a context in which the consultants of our network have been able to assert their professionalism even more and guide customers in planning that looks to the long term. These are reasons – he concluded – which allow us to look at the challenges of 2019 with optimism”.
