After more than 2200 congresses in the factories and 67 territorial and regional congresses, the three-day 19th National Congress of Fim Cisl at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome.
Over a thousand delegates and guests from all over Italy are expected, as well as national and international guests. The slogan chosen by the metalworkers of the CISL – which will also be the hashtag of the congress – is “addyourvoice” (add your voice).
The Fim wanted to put young people at the center of the debate, without rhetoric, but with concrete proposals to bring them closer to the union. For Marco Bentivogli: “This is the moment for all of us to accept the greatest challenge: the one whereby a 20-year-old boy or girl finds himself in the union, in its values and in its actions.
Ethical cash mobs, voting with wallet, Industry and ecosystem 4.0, the new contract for metalworkers, training: these (and many others) are sides of the same coin, that of a new trade union, in step with the times, in which everyone can and wants to "add their voice", #Addyourvoice.
