ICPBI analysts expressed their appreciation for Telecom's move and confirmed the 'Buy' recommendation on the shares of the telecommunications company. The positive recommendation on the Milanese multi-utility was also confirmed by Intermonte (outperform), which just today raised the price target from 1,5 to 1,55 euro per share on the shares.

Mediobanca also welcomes the operation with enthusiasm signed between Telecom and A2a which brings together the technological know-how of the telecommunications group with the industrial infrastructure of the multi-utility to create a high-speed fibre. The Piazzetta Cuccia experts also recalled that the agreement follows the one that Telecom had recently signed with Fastweb for the creation of FlashFiber. "We really like how the CEO of the telecommunications group is acting on the fiber network - they commented - the move could put pressure on Enel Open Fiber".

Telecom Italia is engaged in reach 2018% of the Italian population by 84 with an FTTC network (it was 51% last June) and would be proceeding at a rate of 13 homes a week.
