Fiat to issue bonds in Swiss francs

The final terms of the issue will be determined at the time of pricing based on market conditions – Fiat will request the listing of the securities on the regulated Swiss market (Six Swiss Exchange).

Fiat to issue bonds in Swiss francs

Fiat intends to launch on the market a bonds in Swiss francs. This was announced this morning by Lingotto, specifying that the benchmark bond loan for the Swiss market will be issued by Fiat Finance and Trade Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Fiat spa, as part of the Global Medium Term Notes program guaranteed by Fiat spa. 

The final terms of the issue will be determined at the time of pricing based on market conditions. Fiat will request the listing of the shares on the regulated Swiss market (Six Swiss Exchange).

In November last year, Fiat had placed a bond loan guaranteed by 450 million Swiss francs, maturing in 2017, with a fixed coupon of 4% and issue price at par.

At the end of the morning, the Fiat stock on the Stock Exchange, after the publication of the numbers on summer registrations, dropped 0,25%, to 7,855 euros.
