Ferrero Int: maxi-coupon of 400 million also in 2013, but profit drops to 357 million

An amount of 400 million from the net profit of the 2012-2013 financial year and a portion of the profit carried forward from 2011-2012 will be divided between a cash dividend of 220 million, 100 of which to be paid by December 31, 2013 and the rest by April 30, 2014 – The rest of the dividend will be paid with a shareholder loan of 180 mln.

Also for 2013 the Ferrero International will distribute a maxi-dividend to its shareholders. The Luxembourg holding of the Alba group closed the year (which ended last August) with a net profit of 357,5 million euros, down on the 443 million of the previous year, but has decided to distribute a dividend of 400 million, as in 2012. 

The shareholders' meeting, which met last December 17, resolved that "an amount of 400 million from the net profit for the 2012-2013 financial year and a portion of the profit carried forward for 2011-2012" will be divided between a cash dividend of 220 million, 100 of which to be paid by 31 December 2013 and the rest by 30 April 2014. 

The rest of the dividend "will be paid through a shareholder loan of 180 million in the manner decided by the parties". Ferrero International, founded in 1997, has assets of 4,35 billion euros.
