The share immediately leaps by 7,7% to 9,7 euros – The IPO of the Florentine luxury house seems successful, in a session in which Milan gains, but after very difficult days for stock exchanges around the world.

Positive debut for Ferragamo which jumped by 7,7% to 9,7 euros at the start of the session, taking advantage of the climate of greater market confidence (with the FtseMib gaining 1,6% and the other European markets positive).
After hitting a low of 9,485, the share, making its debut on Piazza Affari, bounces back above 9,7 euros, recording increases up to above 9 percent with trades amounting to just over 3,2 million shares. The placement price was set at 9 euros, just under half of the expected range (8-10,5 euros) after having received requests equal to 3,6 times the offer.
In the shareholding structure came the retail sector to which approximately 10% of the 38 million shares (22,73% of the capital) to be placed was destined, but above all the professional investors to whom 90% was destined. The Ferragamo family has dropped to 56 percent.
“We faced difficult moments on the stock exchanges, but we made it”, declared the president Ferruccio Ferragamo during the listing ceremony which took place in Piazza Affari.
