FCA spins off Ferrari: 10% will be listed on the Stock Exchange

A note from the company adds that the operation is to be completed by 2015 and that Ferrari's listing is expected on Wall Street and in another European market – Fiat Chrysler and Exor shares are flying in Piazza Affari.

FCA spins off Ferrari: 10% will be listed on the Stock Exchange

Fiat spins off Ferrari. The news arrives today, like a bolt from the blue: the new Fiat Chrysler (Fca) approves it spinoff of Ferrari, with 10% of the capital going to the Stock Exchange and the remaining 90% to FCA shareholders. The announcement immediately pushed the shares of the car manufacturer to sharp rise in Piazza Affari, together with those of the parent company Exor.

Shortly after the news, in fact, the FCA share was suspended due to an excessive increase, to then be readmitted to trading and gain almost 5% around 14 pm, at 8 euros round. The Exor stock was also enthusiastic, exceeding 30 euros, gaining more than 5%. Both stocks moved large volumes. A note from the company adds that the operation is to be completed by 2015 and that Ferrari's listing is expected on Wall Street and in another European market.

Meanwhile, another exploit by FCA has arrived on Wall Street, which has opened trading, exceeding +18% to 11,47 dollars. Meanwhile, around 15 pm in Piazza Affari FCA gains over 14% a 8,715 and Exor over 10% a 32,45 euro.
