With effect from February 22, according to what was established today by the Board, Toni Volpe will be the new CEO and also general manager of the company.

The Board of Directors of Falck Renewables, which met today under the chairmanship of Enrico Falck, co-opted Tony Fox as director of the Company and at the same time resolved to grant him the office of Chief Executive Officer and the office of General Manager of the Company with effect from 22 February 2016.

The candidacy was subject to analysis by the Human Resources Committee, which expressed its opinion unanimous favorable opinion.

His in-depth knowledge of the energy sector in general, as well as of the renewable energy sector in particular, alongside the extensive international experience gained in his previous career and in the development of human resources, represent the best prerequisite for accompanying the company towards further successes and positive results.”

Toni Volpe, graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in Management Engineering in 1997, received his MBA from Columbia University School of Business in New York in 2002. He boasts experience in the field of consultancy at Bain & Company in Milan, but it is in the energy sector that he achieves his most significant professional growth, entering the Corporate Strategy Department of the Enel Group in 2004.

The growing assumption of responsibility within the Group led him to assume the position of manager in 2005 CEO and President of Enel Green Power North America, subsequently, in 2011, the position of HR Planning and Development of the Enel Group and subsequently, in 2014, the position of Country Manager and CEO of Enel Romania.
