The price of the operation is approximately 37 million euros – The company has signed an agreement with Glennmont Clean Energy Coöperatief for the acquisition of 100% of the companies owning a portfolio of 5 plants – The portfolio includes 25 turbines for a capacity of total network of 56 MW and a total production of 117 GWh. 

Falck Renewables buys 5 wind farms in France

Falck Renewables, through its subsidiary Falck Energies Renouvelables, opens 5 new wind farms in France.

The company has in fact signed an agreement with Glennmont Clean Energy Coöperatief, for the acquisition of 100% of the companies owning a portfolio of 5 wind farms operating in France. In detail, the portfolio includes 25 turbines for a total grid capacity of 56 MW and a total production of 117 GWh.

The acquisition will be completed within three months. The price of the operation is approximately 37 million euro, financed entirely with own financial resources. The agreement provides for the purchaser to take over the loan agreements with the banks on the closing date.

“This acquisition guarantees the necessary solidity for our presence in France, one of the most attractive markets in which we operate” – declared Toni Volpe, CEO of Falck Renewables. “We will reach nearly 100 MW of installed capacity in France, with a portfolio of plants and turbines that we can further capitalize on in terms of industrial optimization and long-term value extraction.”

Following the announcement, Falck Renewables shares gained 3,95% on Piazza Affari at €2,37.
