This is confirmed by the estimates of Ice and Confindustria, who photograph a scenario with strong potential. The ICE-Prometeia report estimates growth in world trade in goods and services by volume of +4,1% (2022) and +3,2% (2023). 

Geographically, the highest increases are expected for theCentral Asia (+ 15,5%) and Northern Africa (+9,2%). According to Confindustria, by 2030, the area of ​​the only North Africa (and the Middle East) will see the entry into the middle class of about one hundred million people capable of generating a consumer turnover equal to the current Italian GDP.

The challenge for each company will be to find the areas most compatible with its model, probably starting from those closest, most accessible and least affected by tensions. The new geopolitical balances in exchange relations can represent the test case for grounding markets more congenial and stable its offer of innovation.
