Digital export, agreement between Italiaonline and ICE Agency

Italyonline, the largest Italian internet company leader in digital solutions for businesses, and theICE agency have signed a partnership agreement for the organization of a free training and communication plan to explore the most recent business strategies aimed at promotingexport of the Made in Italy:, in full digital mode.

The initiative consists of 10 webinars, with a practical cut and operational purposes, scheduled between February and June 2021, dedicated to key topics related to digital export: from the global market to the major importers of Made in Italy such as China and the USA; from emerging importing countries (South Korea and India) to the main international marketplaces, up to the world's big vendors such as Amazon and Alibaba.

The training program is aimed mainly - but not only - at those who belong to the privileged sectors for the activities of international e-commerce as highlighted by ICE, i.e. economic operators in the Food, Beauty, Design, Fashion, Jewels, Wine, Cosmetics, Shoes and Leathergoods sectors.

The first appointment is set for Tuesday 16 February at 10 with a webinar dedicated to expanding the business in the global market.

The webinars will be presented by Italiaonline Academy, the Italiaonline corporate university created for internal training and subsequently extended to external training for companies, especially Italian SMEs.

The push towards digital that the current emergency has accelerated has highlighted that there is a strong shortage of professionals with training in digital marketing or digital strategy in small and medium-sized Italian companies, throughout the country. With hundreds of hours of training provided, the Italiaonline corporate university is a source of knowledge and value for participating companies and an extraordinary collaboration environment with top digital partners (Google, Facebook, Alibaba). In 2020 there were almost 10.000 participants in the webinars, which touched on topics such as: e-commerce, export, social & digital strategy, search engine positioning, advertising strategy and much more. This has allowed companies to be able to train their resources quickly and free of charge, in order to be able to face a digitization process and exports and the consequent growth of its business.

All companies that join the webinars will be provided with access to an additional self-learning course, created in accordance with IAB Italy, and usable on demand on the dedicated Italiaonline – IAB platform. The course includes over 15 hours of online training visible from any device with content created by IAB qualified teachers and a final questionnaire for each training session to obtain the certificate of participation.

In 2020, we offered businesses 14 new initiatives, mostly digital-centric, including the platform Smart 365 fair, ecommerce agreements with 27 of the main global marketplaces and the training of digital export managers. In this historic moment we are working increasingly to increase the share of our digital exports on global markets".
