La shows Éternel Mucha – from 22 March to 5 November 2023 in Paris – tells the visitor the story of Alphonse Mucha and of his humanist ambition in three acts: how poster master in Paris; straddling his career in 1900, when he was heavily involved in the Paris Universal Exposition; and through the presentation of his monumental works, especially The Slavic Epic, which develops a vision of Slavic history as a pacifist model of the world that resonates today more than ever.

The exhibition is also interested in its permanent influence: from the pacifist movement "Flower Power” of the 60s, passing through Japanese manga, superheroes, street art artists and even in the art of tattooing.

Who is Alphonse Mucha? A rediscovery of the master of Art Nouveau

The immersive dimension of the exhibition is accentuated thanks to the olfactory universe created by TechnicoFlor, appealing to all of the visitors' senses. Specific to GPI, an original musical creation composed especially for the exhibition by the Studio of Radio France, Bruno Laforesterie and Benjamin Morando propose a contemporary score, which will slip into quotations from works by composers from the time of Mucha. Thanks to the very high definition images, the immersive exhibition Eternal Mucha offers the public a deep dive into the heart of the work of this avant-garde artist, an icon of refinement, elegance and modernity. An exhibition to rediscover an avant-garde artist who still influences contemporary creators, inventor ofArt Nouveau, pioneer of signage and forerunner of advertising.
