Eurizon (Intesa): strong growth in profits (+45%) in the half year

Eurizon closes the first half of 2021 with a consolidated net income up 45% on an annual basis, to 393,7 million euros. The commission margin rises to 595 million (+32,7%), while the cost-income ratio it drops to 14,8%, from 19,7% at the end of June 2020.

The asset management company of the Intesa Sanpaolo group also specifies that collection reached €1,8 billion: in detail, open-ended funds recorded net inflows of €3,7 billion, with the largest contribution coming from balanced funds (+2,3 billion), followed by equities (+2 billion) and bonds (+857 million).

In the second alone quarter, total deposits amounted to 1,67 billion, mainly thanks to the contribution of open funds.

The contribution from abroad is growing, especially from society Chinese Penghua Fund Management (49% owned), which at the end of June had assets of 120,4 billion euro (+17,1% from the beginning of the year and +26,1% in 12 months), with net inflows of approximately 12 billion euro in the first semester.

Eurizon reminds you that it has been effective since XNUMXst July the merger with Pramerica Sgr, the asset management company acquired by Intesa Sanpaolo following the takeover bid on the Ubi Group. The combined value of assets under management of the two companies is 425,8 billion euro, up by around 8,7 billion since the beginning of the year thanks to the joint effect of good funding results and market performance.
