Eni and Telepass new mobility agreement

Strategic collaboration between Telepass and Eni for mobility. The agreement provides for the activation of Telepass Points at affiliated Eni Live Stations throughout Italy and, currently, payment for fuel via the Telepass Pay app at 350 Eni Live Stations, subsequently throughout the Eni service station network.

In particular, in the Eni Live Station where they were activated 200 Telepass Point (but destined to become 500 by the end of 2021) it is possible to request, withdraw and replace the Telepass device (even a second device), as well as request information and direct assistance. By the summer it will also be possible to activate roadside assistance. Instead, in 350 Eni Live Stations (both served and self-service) you can pay for fuel through theTelepass Pay app, thus making refueling easier, both on the motorway and in the city: the payment service is conveniently managed from the completely cashless customer's mobile device and is included in the fixed monthly Telepass Pay fee.

The partnership with Eni intends to offer its customers an increasingly complete platform of digital services for mobility and at the same time guaranteeing time savings and maximum security in terms of reducing contact opportunities thanks to the cashless nature, all while respecting the environment. Similarly, Eni has started a process of energy transition which will lead to the decarbonisation of all products and processes by 2050. Service stations will make a strong contribution to people and cars as well as the sale of increasingly sustainable fuels.

"Thanks to the Eni Live Stations, Telepass will offer its customers a widespread service throughout the country, guaranteeing that proximity which remains essential in order to be able to assist our customers, not only at the toll booths on the motorways, but also in the city - he declared Gabriel Benedict, Telepass Chief Executive Officer –. The partnership with Eni allows us to continue along the path of making life easier for people on the move, maintaining the Safe&Clean approach, strongly digital and sustainable, combined with the physical reality of the Telepass Stores in Milan and Turin and the new proximity T-Points" .

“The partnership with Telepass – he commented John Maffei, Eni's Green & Traditional Refining & Marketing Sales Manager - is part of the strategy of repositioning our offer, which accompanies the energy transition and which evolves the function of Eni Live Stations, proposing services related to people and mobility, offered to customers who every day they come into contact with our network and who, in addition to refueling their cars with innovative fuels, can access other on the go services, proprietary or developed through commercial agreements".
