Eni has reached an agreement with Iran on the repayment of the receivables owed by the Group in the Middle Eastern country. This was announced by the managing director of the six-legged dog, Claudio Descalzi, on the sidelines of the Climate Conference currently underway in Paris.“We finalised, we haven't written yet but we have reached an agreement”,' declared the CEO.

At the moment there are still no official confirmations, but according to the rumors circulated in recent months, Eni should boast credits of around 800 million dollars. Descalzi communicated that the data regarding the amount will be communicated later: 'We will say it later, we can say that the past with Iran has been closed with a satisfactory compromise between the parties'.
