"Energy“, a company active in the supply of integrated energy storage systems listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market, announced that it has signed a preliminary agreement on 27 June 2023 for the acquisition of Cloud Computing Ltd., a company based in Trento active since 2016 in the development of software with IoT applications.
More effective product management
In line with the growth strategy declared at the time of the listing, the acquisition aims to integrate Cloud Computing Srl's experience in the remote control and management of energy production, storage and consumption systems in the Energy group. The goal is to make product management more efficient Energy software and supervise the strategic phases of the value chain in an integrated way.
The operation will take place through EnergyInCloud Srl, a innovative start-up recently established, in which Energy will hold 73% while the remaining 27% will be owned by the current shareholders of Cloud Computing Srl
EnergyInCloud Srl will operate within the group for the development of Energy projects, as well as serving external customers. The Board of Directors of EnergyInCloud Srl will be composed of three members, of which two appointed by Energy SpA and one appointed by Cloud Computing Srl The closing of the transaction is expected within the end of July 2023.
