Enel Green Power was awarded two 280-year power supply contracts with South African utility Eskom for an additional XNUMX MW of wind projects in the fourth phase of the Reipppp (Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme) tender for renewable energies, promoted by the South African government.
The company thus achieves 705 MW of total capacity won in the fourth stage of the race. The two wind projects will be completed and enter operational by 2018 and require a total investment of approximately 340 million euros, in line with the strategic growth objectives envisaged by Enel Green Power's current business plan.
