Endesa: 100% profit in the 2017-2019 dividend

Also for 2015 and 2016 the ordinary dividend will be distributed equal to 100% of the net profit pertaining to the group, but in this case on condition that this amount is higher than the application of a minimum increase of 5% compared to the ordinary dividend paid in the previous year.

Endesa: 100% profit in the 2017-2019 dividend

Between 2017 and 2019 Endesa, the Spanish subsidiary of Enel, will distribute the entire profit with the dividend. This was decided by the company's Board of Directors, which approved the new strategic plan.

Also for 2015 and 2016 the ordinary dividend will be distributed equal to 100% of the net profit pertaining to the group, but in this case on condition that this amount is higher than the application of a minimum increase of 5% compared to the ordinary dividend paid in the previous year.

Endesa's industrial plan presented last year envisaged an increase in the dividend at a minimum rate of 5% between 2015 and 2016, starting from 0,76 euro in 2014. In June of this year, in the update of the plan, the group had said it would opt for a 100% payout, instead of the minimum 5% growth, if it was more beneficial to shareholders.

After the news broke Enel's stock on the Stock Exchange travels up by 0,15%, to 4,118 euros.

However, Endesa specified that its "ability to pay dividends to its shareholders depends on numerous factors, including the profits obtained and the availability of available reserves, and cannot guarantee that the dividends will be paid nor the amount that will be paid".
