The Ebola alarm is growing in Europe and the fear of contagion. After the cases in Spain, the epidemic could spread to other countries, including France and Germany. The French authorities have indeed cordoned off a building north-west of Paris, in the suburb of Cergy-Pointoise for a suspicious case. The alarm then subsided, as well as that of the building of the Departmental Directorate of Health and Social Affairs which had been isolated due to a Guinean citizen who presented symptoms very similar to those caused by the virus.

"After the necessary checks, the alarm stopped and the people left the building," announced the prefect. Emergency services were alerted by a doctor present on site who noticed worrying symptoms of four people who had returned from Guinea.

There was also a report in Macedonia: the Ministry of Health of the former Yugoslav country confirmed the suspicious death of a British citizen. In the meantime, a man infected with the virus in Liberia would have arrived in Germany; he is hospitalized in Leipzig.

Meanwhile in Spain sThe conditions of Teresa Romero, the infected nurse, have worsened, according to what was confirmed by the deputy general manager of the hospital, Yolanda Fuentes: "The conditions have worsened, but due to the express wish of the patient, we cannot give information on her clinical situation".
