E.On has sold its solar assets in Italy to the Italian infrastructure fund F2i SGR. The operation involves 7 ground-based photovoltaic parks, built between 2010 and 2013, for a total generation capacity of approximately 49 MW. About 70% of them are located in Sardinia, i.e. in areas with high irradiation and with favorable solar regimes.
E.On Italia and the Italian infrastructure fund did not want to disclose the purchase price in the press release announcing the closing of the operation.
