Dolce and Gabbana acquitted in Cassation

The Court of Cassation has acquitted Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana of the charge of omitted tax return "because the fact does not exist". The two stylists were first sentenced to one year and eight months and on appeal to one year and six months.

The managers Cristina Ruella and Giuseppe Minoni were also acquitted by the Cassation. The only one for whom the sentence was canceled with postponement is Alfonso Dolce, Domenico's brother. But the whole process expires at the beginning of November.

The prosecutor had spoken of "a tax evasion carried out with a foreign appointment in a fictitious office, that of Luxembourg, which was not operational since everything was decided in Milan".
