More than one billion between 2013 and 2014. This is the amount of revenue expected from the increase in excise tax rates on fuel, envisaged in the draft of the decree law on public finances, which will be examined today by the Council of Ministers.
Starting from the day following the entry into force of the decree, the excise duties on leaded and unleaded petrol and diesel will increase by 6,5 cents, until 31 December 2013. From 2014 January 3,3 they will increase by 184,9 cents, guaranteeing a revenue of 906,6 million for the current year and XNUMX million for the next.
Treasury sources, however, deny that the increase will be included in the final document that the CDM is preparing to approve.
