What many consider it to be "the deal of the century" has concluded. Disney officially gets its hands on 21st Century Fox. The agreement had been awaited for months, but in the night between Tuesday and Wednesday it was Rupert Murdoch's former company that gave the official announcement of the operation.

In the end, the US giant managed to grab the Fox channels for 71 billion dollars, 62 billion euros. An enormous park of intellectual properties is handed over to Disney, which includes, among other things, Fox, the FX and National Geographic channels, the Indian television Star India, Fox's stake in Hulu. From a cinematographic point of view, the last Marvel superheroes whose rights were still in the hands of Fox also become the property of Mickey Mouse. Any examples? X-Men, the Fantastic Four and Deadpool.

Not only that, from today too The Simpsons they will become Disney characters.

The news and sports channels owned by Fox, which will merge into Fox Corporation, are excluded from the agreement.

From a financial standpoint, 21st Century Fox announced that it has completed the distribution of all issued and outstanding shares of Fox Corporation to 21st Century Fox shareholders (in addition to the owners of the shares held by 21CF subsidiaries) on a pro rata basis.

Thus two independent companies were born, both listed on the Stock Exchange. FOX Class A common stock and FOX Class B common stock are now listed on the Nasdaq under the symbol “FOXA” and “FOX,” respectively. 21CF Class A common stock and 21CF Class B common stock, which were previously listed on the Nasdaq under the symbol “FOXA” and “FOX,” respectively, are now listed on the Nasdaq under the symbol “TFCFA” and “ TFFC".
