Design: 140% success for Cambi auction held completely remotely

In this period of emergency from Covid-19, auction houses continue their business by offering themselves more and more with online auctions. Surely in the future the choice will be to move more and more towards this type of service and the use of social channels and information exclusively online.

So did Cambi, which took the important decision not to cancel its event dedicated to the best of Italian and international design of the XNUMXth century, the Auction Design200. The challenge was to manage all the activities before and during the auction completely remotely, with all the staff connected by videoconference, each from their own home. Throughout the afternoon, Cambi allowed over 200 customers to challenge each other with Bids between one lot and another, realizing exceptional results, with 75 lots sold and 140% sold by value. The Auction achieved an exceptional result, not only because it marked a very significant increase compared to the past year (48% more in turnover compared to the same appointment in March 2019), but it is also the Design200 Auction that performed the best result ever. A huge participation therefore, with customers from 20 countries spread over 4 continents. Many Big Buyers from Switzerland, France, United Kingdom and USA, but also many Italian customers to participate and win the most important lots.
