Also Deloitte opens a new office in Milan, which as is now customary will have zero environmental impact, i.e. a so-called NZEB building (Near Zero Energy Building). The new headquarters of the consulting firm will be ready in 2023 and will house 5.000 employees: it is LEED Platinum and WELL Gold certified and will be equipped with customizable "Smart Ready" functions, with real-time monitoring of environmental conditions. It will be built in a real estate complex owned by the group Allianz (which until 2018, before moving to CityLife, also had its headquarters there), in Corso Italia 23, i.e. in the very center and in an area that in a few years will also be served by the new underground line 4, undergoing construction. The number of companies renovating their buildings in a sustainable way is growing. Renovation works are underway in Rome Enel headquarters and a few days ago Snam announced that it will move its offices to one new building in Milan from the historic sites to San Donato.
