The shareholders' meeting of D'Amico International Shipping has approved a capital increase for a maximum value of 35 million euro. The subscription of the new shares will also see the simultaneous assignment of free warrants exercisable within a period of five years, for a maximum value of 60 million euro.
The extraordinary meeting approved the amendments to the bylaws and fixed the authorized capital of the company, including the issued capital, at a total amount equal to 100 million dollars, divided into one billion shares of no par value. Green light also to the renewal for five years of the delegation to the board of directors.
The capital increase may take place in one or more tranches within the limits of the authorized capital. The Board may limit or eliminate, partially or totally, the option rights of existing shareholders.
At the beginning of the afternoon, D'amico shares lost 0,6%, to 0,242 euro, going against the general trend of the indices.
