Cooking in the Camper with the restaurants of the Buon memory: you can and with taste

Tasty and refined dishes, but at the same time simple and quick to prepare when traveling by camper: to suggest to camper enthusiasts delicious and original recipes, quick and easy to prepare, which enhance local products – above all when their tour is to discover the Italian marvels – the chefs of the premises of the Unione Restaurants del Buon Memory will take to the field at the Salone del Camper in Parma, the first association of restaurateurs born in Italy (it was founded in 1964), which includes about a hundred establishments, standard-bearers of the best regional gastronomic tradition.

From 11 to 19 September, they will be the protagonists of the 9 "Cooking in a camper" cooking show, which will be repeated several times during each day: 5 appointments on weekends (from 12.00 to 16.00) and 3 on weekdays (from 12.00 to 13.00) at 15.00, XNUMX and XNUMX). To participate, just book online on the website www.salonedelcamper.it.

The show cookings will be held in a dedicated outdoor space, between pavilions 3 and 5. The chefs, drawing on the gastronomic tradition of their region, will teach how to prepare tasty and non-trivial dishes, managing the galley and the necessarily reduced spaces of a camper. Among the ingredients used there will be Parmigiano Reggiano, Montasio cheese from Friuli, sweet San Daniele ham and other fine products from the event's partners. The recipes can be downloaded from the Salone del Camper website and will be collected in a recipe book, which will be given free to the participants.

The Cooking in Camper format is sponsored by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Wine and Flavors Route.

Also this year, the Union of Restaurants of Buon Memory will also be present at the Salone del Camper with its own stand, inside which there will be a space dedicated to the Association of Collectors Plates of Good Memory, where collectors from all over Italy will be able to meet , confront each other and will also have the opportunity to trade their pieces.

Since 1964, the Union of Restaurants of Good Memory has been safeguarding and enhancing the many gastronomic traditions and cultures of our country, uniting country and city restaurants and trattorias, from North to South, under the aegis of local cuisine. The URBR was the first association among restaurateurs born in Italy and is still today the most widespread and well-known. To characterize each restaurant, and to create a trait d'union between them, is today, as in the past, the dish-symbol hand-painted by the artisans of the Solimene Artistic Ceramics of Vietri sul Mare on which the local specialty is portrayed, which is given to guests in memory of a pleasant gastronomic experience to remember.
