We recall that today's meeting was convened precisely at the request of Dumont precisely to revoke the now former board of directors and elect the new board. Great absent Miro Fiordi, who did not participate in the meeting, in order to avoid further friction: "I deliberately took a step to the side, with the intention of not inciting any controversy, avoiding any confrontation, in the interest of the bank and I remain faithful to this choice", Fiordi explained to MF-Dowjones the manager. “We managed to have the internal models validated, obtaining a good capital advantage, we completed the sale of the Npls and obtained the state public guarantee (Gacs). The board quickly achieved what was indicated in the business plan and is now delivering to the new shareholders a more solid bank with good liquidity to face future challenges more easily ”, he concluded.

“We are satisfied with the result, definitely”, commented Pierre Mestdagh, president of Dgfd, the holding company through which the French entrepreneur Denis Dumont controls 5,12% of Credito Valtellinese, at the conclusion of the meeting. The manager then ruled out for the time being that Dumont would increase his shares in the Institute's capital. “I think we will stay at the current level,” he explained.
