While Italy stops to fight the Coronavirus, various solidarity initiatives are arriving from the business world.
After Intesa Sanpaolo, Tim, Pirelli, Snam e Generali, Unicredit has launched a fundraiser among its employees to support three Italian hospitals particularly involved in the battle, both in terms of patient care and scientific research: Spallanzani in Rome, Luigi Sacco in Milan and the IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo Foundation in Pavia . For every euro donated by employees, Unicredit Foundation will add 10, up to a maximum of 1 million euro.
"This fundraiser, open to all employees of the group - said Jean Pierre Mustier, CEO of Unicredit - aims to support and show gratitude to the medical personnel in Italy who are working tirelessly for the treatment of patients affected by the new coronavirus and to help scientific researchers develop new solutions”.
