Mining contract, there is an agreement: an increase of 100 euros

A salary increase of 100 euros for three years. This is what is envisaged in the agreement hypothesis for the renewal of the national contract for the mining industry signed yesterday by the unions in the sector (Filctem-Cgil, Femca-Cisl and Uiltec-Uil) with Assomineraria-Confindustria. The agreement concerns over 3 employees.

The previous contract expired on 31 March 2016, therefore the new effective date runs from 2016 April 31 to 2019 March XNUMX.

In detail, the agreement provides for an increase of 100 euros on the minimum table over the three-year period (50th level), divided into two tranches: 1 euros, from 2017 April 50; 1 euros, from 2018 April 1.863. The total amount is XNUMX euros.

In companies where second-level bargaining is not exercised, in addition to the treatment already contractually provided for, an amount equal to 200 euros for 2017 and 200 euros for 2018.

On contractual welfare, the parties have set up a Commission which will have to, within the term of the contract, define the conditions under which workers in the sector will flow from the welfare of the chemical contract to that of energy and oil.

"The operation is important - say the unions with satisfaction - because it improves the economic conditions of workers in the sector and responds effectively to the recovery of the inflation rate which is presumed to be recorded during the term of the contract".

Finally, the current classification system is confirmed with the addition of further professional profiles, which will be subsequently defined by a special Commission.

The hypothesis of an agreement stipulated - the unions know - will be immediately submitted to the scrutiny of the workers' assemblies.
