Requests are growing Loans of Italian families. It is revealed by the Barometer Crif, according to which in June 2016, loan applications from Italian households recorded an increase of 6,5% on an annual basis. This performance leads the overall demand for loans in the first half of 2016 to mark a growth of 8,4% compared to the same period of 2015.
For Crif, this is a figure that is “extremely comforting if we consider that even i first six months of 2015 had recorded a positive change”. In any case, there remains a gap to fill compared to the two-year period 2010-2011: the number of requests recorded in the first six months of 2016 represents a contraction of 3,5% on 2010 and 0,3% on 2011.
“The data relating to the first six months of the current year .- commented the executive director of Crif Simon Capecchi – certifies the positive dynamics of the demand for loans after the long period of weakness which heavily conditioned financial planning and household spending projects, especially for goods and services of a larger amount, typically supported by a loan”.
"On the other hand - he added - the progressive recovery of consumption is favored by the improvement in Italian confidence, by more relaxed conditions on the labor market as well as by a more favorable offer from credit institutions than in the past".
