Consip has awarded a tender for 300 million euros regarding the "System Management" services of the PA Data Processing Centres.
28 economic operators took part in the tender. 4 those who managed to add it:
- RTI Enterprise Services Italy, Exprivia, Eustema, Reply Public Sector Consortium;
- RTI Fastweb, Present, Hewlett-Packard Italiana, Atos Italia;
- RTI IBM Italy, Accenture, Accenture Technology Solutions, Insirio, SQS SItalia, Information Systems;
- RTI Almaviva, Leonardo, Eurolink, Topnetwork.
The activation of the framework agreement is expected within the month of October. In this context, the administrations will have the possibility to award specific contracts to one of the suppliers.
The initiative refers, in detail, to the assignment in outsourcing management of IT infrastructures of public administrations. We are talking about services and activities aimed at guaranteeing the full operation of the technological infrastructures of the Data Processing Centers, maintaining their efficiency, guaranteeing users the availability and performance of the installed applications and the integrity of the related data, as well as providing support necessary to ensure constant alignment with the technological evolution of the ICT market.
The Framework Agreement envisages the operational management of the CED infrastructures as a basic service (both remotely and on-site), i.e. the monitoring and daily management of systems, networks and security. There are optional services (nighttime/holiday monitoring, availability/after-hours interventions, specialist support) and accessories (management of non-standard systems, hardware maintenance, client environment support).
