Italian Railway Network, a company of the FS Italiane Group, has been awarded a race worth around 180 million of euros for the execution of a program of telecommunications maintenance and enhancement interventions in the railway sector throughout the country. This activity is part of the broader RFI investment plan for maintenance activities aimed at raising reliability standards and enhancing the network from a technological point of view. The Framework Agreement has a duration of three years.
La the competition is divided into 14 lots, corresponding to as many RFI territorial directorates. The works will consist of widespread interventions relating to the GSM-R Network, Public Information systems, video surveillance systems, selective telephone systems and LAN and WAN Networks.
