Cassa Depositi e Prestiti wants to strengthen its presence and its ability to intervene a Napoli, and for this reason it has inaugurated the new territorial headquarters of the group in the Campania capital. In fact, with the launch of the new operating model, CDP poses the sustainable development of the territories is at the center of its activity, through support for businesses – also with attention to medium and small-sized ones – the infrastructural development of the country and renewed support for local authorities.

The activity is redesigned according to the needs of the local communities: the new headquarters in Naples in via Giuseppe Verdi 18 will therefore be the single point of access to the offer of the CDP group and will make it possible to enhance synergies with banking partners and local institutions.

The new headquarters, according to a note from CDP, responds to an innovative vision compared to the past: no longer representative offices but operational reference points, thanks to the presence of dedicated professionals able to respond to the needs of companies and public administrations through the offer of the entire range of products of the CDP Group: loans, guarantees, venture capital and private equity, as well as financial and technical consultancy activities . An integrated model of services increasingly adapted to the needs of the territory.

“The opening program of the new offices of the CDP group in Naples – he commented the CEO of CDP Fabrizio Palermo -, starts from the desire to put the territory at the center of our work. There is a historical relationship that unites CDP with the territories. A relationship that we want to further strengthen by launching a model of cohesion with public administrations and businesses, bringing a new integrated scheme of Group professionalism and skills, made up of technicians at the service of the country".

Meanwhile, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti has also announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ICE, the Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian companies. An agreement that provides for the start of a collaborative relationship aimed at the evaluation and definition of initiatives aimed at enhance assistance to Italian companies and provide them with more comprehensive support, integrated and system. This collaboration can be achieved through the establishment of ICE Agency desks at CDP's regional offices and the establishment of CDP desks at ICE Agency's foreign offices, in order to encourage support for companies that will highlight the need to support their growth and innovation projects and who intend to operate in foreign markets.

“We want an ICE that is closer to local businesses – he commented Charles Ferro, President of the ICE Agency – and we must increase the number of SMEs from the South systematically present on international markets, which is still too low today. Southern companies represent only 12% of Italian exports and, if we look at Campania, this percentage stands at 5%. Success is a team effort and the agreement signed today with CDP provides for local collaboration to be closer to companies: starting today we offer them a systematic presence for at least one day a week in 18 Italian Regions, a contact antenna with the network of our 80 offices abroad.”
