Carlo Ferraresi is the new Chief Executive Officer of Cattolica Assicurazioni. Yesterday's Board of Directors unanimously nominated him. Ferraresi also maintains the powers of General Manager,
Cattolica's Board of Directors also exercised the delegation conferred by the shareholders' meeting for the capital increase of 500 million euro, divided into two tranches: the first of 300 million, reserved for Generali, and the second of 200 million which will be option offered to all shareholders. As regards the part of the increase reserved for Generali, "the resolution - specifies a note from Cattolica - is consistent with the provisions of the framework agreement of June 24th and was previously shared with Generali itself".
The execution times of the capital increase will depend on the Supervisory authorisations.
The Board also expressed "solidarity and closeness to the colleagues and management involved in the recent judicial investigations" in relation to the progress of the last meetings after the defenestration of the former Alberto Minali, reiterating its correctness.
