Cattolica, capital increase of 30 million for Tua Assicurazioni

Cattolica Assicurazioni to subscribe the 30 million euro capital increase of Tua Assicurazioni, 100% controlled by the Veronese group.

Through this recapitalization, Tua will implement operations for the development and consolidation of capital solidity.

“The shareholder intends to reaffirm its support for TUA Assicurazioni and its growth path, which includes numerous initiatives aimed at supporting the distribution network and encouraging its expansion throughout the national territory”, reads the note from Cattolica.

“The contribution of new capital by the parent company puts us in a position to pursue even more vigorously the objectives that we have set for ourselves”, declared the managing director of TUA Assicurazioni, Nazareno Cerni. “We are a dynamic and innovative company, which has always operated by placing the best interests of agents and customers at the center of its strategy. We intend to strengthen this vocation thanks to a renewed offer of innovative products, the review of agency processes with a view to simplifying and constantly improving the relationship between the intermediary and the Company and expanding business opportunities, also through the development of the new target Affinity & Partnerships”.

At Piazza Affari, the Cattolica share dropped 1% to 7,31 euros.
