Carlo Trabattoni (Generali Investments Partners Sgr) was unanimously elected new president of Assogestioni e happens to Tommaso Corcos.

The Italian asset management association has also appointed the association bodies for the three-year period 2022-2025 and the three vice-presidents: Saverio Perissinotto (Eurizon Capital Sgr), Giovanni sandri (BlackRock BV – Milan Branch) e Cinzia Tagliabue (Amundi Sgr).

“I would like to thank Tommaso Corcos for the effort made during his presidency, which confirmed the centrality of industry and I am happy and proud of the trust that the Association has given me in continuing along this path” said Trabattoni “The maturity reached it will now have to decline in a phase of renewed responsibility, aware of the role we can play for the economic recovery and alongside savers.”

On the occasion of the renewal of the offices of the association, the general manager Fabio Galli he personally thanked the outgoing directors and auditors, addressing particular thanks to former chairman Tommaso Corcos “for his commitment and vision in the six years of the two challenging council meetings which have seen strong development of managed savings and the role of Assogestioni.

Who is Carlo Trabattoni?

Trabattoni, now president of Generali Investments Partners, joined Gruppo del Leone in September 2017, as Head of Generali Investments Partners and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the A&WM Business Unit in March 2021. In June 2021, he is also appointed Chief Executive Officer of Generali Investments Holding.

Before, since 1996, he has been in Schroders since 1996 with multiple offices. Trabattoni also assumed the role of Representative of Foreign Fund Managers in Assogestioni, becoming a Member of the Board of Directors, and in IFI as Member of the Executive Committee since 2002.
