The actions of Banca Carige they are once again traded among the investors of Piazza Affari, but only for a short time. On Wednesday morning, the stock managed to briefly enter trading, reaching a price of 0,8 euros. Immediately afterwards, however, the shares were suspended in a volatility auction with a theoretical increase of 26,6%, to 0,85 euro.
The title Carige, after remaining frozen from trading for two years, was re-listed on Tuesday, but no deals were concluded on the first day, as the shares never managed to enter trading. The market formed a price of 0,6318 euro, the reference price from which the stock started today.
At current prices, the capitalization of the Genoese bank controlled by the Interbank Deposit Guarantee Fund amounts to approximately 604 million euro.
The last price recorded at the end of 2018 was 0,015 euro, before the capital increase and the merger of shares. The floating it is very small (approximately 11%) due to the shareholding reorganization that took place in the receivership phase, which led Fitd to have a total of 80% and Cassa Centrale Banca to hold 8,6%.
