The Carige Foundation has fallen below 45% of the capital of the Genoese institute, taking advantage of the authorization of the Treasury to reduce its stake down to 39%. At the moment the share held by the Authority is approximately 43,4%, 1,7% lower than the last communication.
Paolo Momigliano, president of the Foundation, declared on the sidelines of the meeting that he had presented the Ministry of Economy with a request for a further reduction of the quota "up to 19%". “I think that within 15 days – continued Mirigliano – we will begin to move towards a solution. There are many hypotheses”.
