Carige, Delmonte new general manager

Gabriele Delmonte pro tempore takes the place of Guido Bastianini, the discouraged CEO last Friday - Banca Carige's Board of Directors will meet again on 21 June to deliberate the response to the letter from the ECB asking for a definitive plan to be presented by 23 June on the capital increase.

Banca Carige has appointed Gabriele Delmonte as the new general manager pro tempore in place of Guido Bastianini, with whom the process of termination of the employment relationship has started today. Bastianini, to whom last Friday, after the vote of no confidence, the powers of CEO and general manager had been revoked, currently remains on the board.

The two powers of Arturo Betunio, CFO and general counsel, also disheartened, passed pro tempore to Gianluca Caniato and Edoardo Vinelli, two internal managers. Banca Carige's Board of Directors will meet again on 21 June to deliberate the response to the letter from the ECB which asks to present a definitive plan on the capital increase by 23 June, which according to rumors could vary from 450 to 800 million, on the sale of impaired loans for around 2,4 billion and on governance.
