Burst of price hikes for fuel. Today petrol has touched new records on the national territory, reaching peaks of 1,998 euros per liter in the Marche region and approaching the two-euro threshold in several regions. The diesel, on the other hand, is more stable. The average price in the country is around 1,88 euros for each liter of green, while for diesel it ranges from 1,776 euros/litre for Tamoil to 1,783 for TotalErg (no-logo at 1,674). LPG, on the other hand, is around 0,88 euros per litre.

In detail, the recommended prices recorded increases for Eni (petrol +0,5 cents and diesel +0,4), Tamoil (+0,5 only on petrol), TotalErg (+0,5 again only on "green" ”) as well as Esso (+0,4). Of note, still in the area, i rising prices also for no-logos which are affected by the recent rises in international prices. The other peaks show 1,821 euros/litre for diesel and 0,911 for LPG, both in the South.

To report also that from April 1, the Marches will no longer be the most expensive region for petrol since the reduction of the regional surcharge will remove the 2 euro threshold probably leaving the baton to Liguria and Tuscany where now, again due to the high excise duty, we are already on average at 1,965.
