Change at the top of Bulgari. Laura Burdese is the new CEO of the French group LVMH, a position he will assume starting from 1 July 2026.
The 54-year-old Italian manager, who was deputy general manager since July 2024, will succeed Jean-Christophe Babin After more than 25 years, first at TAG Heuer and then at Bulgari, Babin will step down as CEO of Bulgari. Babin will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors, CEO of the Bulgari Hotel Business Unit, and President of the Bulgari Foundation.
Laura Burdese will report to Stephane Bianci, Deputy CEO of LVMH and CEO of LVMH Montres et Joaillerie.
“I am very proud of this seamless transition,” said Bianci. “Over the past three years, Laura and Jean-Christophe have worked side by side to orchestrate the rise of the iconic Bulgari house.”
Who is Laura Burdese?
Burdese joined LVMH in 2016 as CEO of the Italian perfume brand Acqua di Parma, before moving to Bulgari in 2022 as vice president of marketing and communications, then deputy general manager.
Before LVMH, he worked at Beiersdorf, L'Oréal, and Swatch. Looking at the results of LVMH's Watches and Jewelry division (which includes, among others, Bulgari, Tiffany, Tag Heuer, Chaumet),turnover in the first nine months of 2025 fell by 2% to 7,4 billion euros.
