Patents and trademarks, the most creative citizens are from Lombardy

On the occasion of the Industrial Property Exhibition, the data processed by Senaf on the basis of Uibm (the Italian Patent and Trademark Office) was released - The ranking of the most creative citizens, from the point of view of the inventions filed in the first eight months of 2013, sees those residing in Lombardy in first place

Patents and trademarks, the most creative citizens are from Lombardy

From January to August 2013, there were 5.976 les questions for invention filed by Italians: a stable figure compared to the same period of 2012, when 5.990 inventions were filed. As for i brands, in the first eight months of 2013, there were 37.441 requests against 36.525 in the same period of 2012 (+2,5%).
 
These are the data processed by Senaf on the basis of Uibm, the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, on the occasion of the Industrial Property Exhibition, a day dedicated to informing and updating companies on the issues of protecting and enhancing trademarks, inventions, models and designs.

The ranking of the most creative citizens from the point of view of the inventions filed in the first eight months of 2013, sees those residing in Lombardy (1.176) in first place, followed by those of Emilia Romagna (836), Veneto (820), Piedmont ( 461), Tuscany (408), Lazio (354), Marche (247), Friuli Venezia Giulia (158), Campania (139), Puglia (127), Trentino Alto Adige (119), Liguria (106), Sicily (92 ), Umbria (85), Abruzzo (76), Calabria (60), Sardinia (37), Basilicata (10), Molise (8), Valle D'Aosta (5). In particular, looking at the provinces, it is the citizens of Milan (498), followed by those of Bologna (340) and Rome (297) who tread the podium of the most creative citizens.

If we look at the trademarks filed in the first eight months of 2013, we see how the inhabitants of Lombardy (6.764) lead the ranking followed by those of Lazio (4.154), Emilia Romagna (3.388), Veneto (3.241), Tuscany ( 2.702), Piedmont (2.692), Campania (2.014), Puglia (1.394), Sicily (1.099), Marche (984), Liguria (694), Trentino Alto Adige (660), Friuli Venezia Giulia (630), Abruzzo (615 ), Umbria (532), Sardinia (415), Calabria (271), Basilicata (154), Valle D'Aosta (95), Molise (76). Also on this front, looking at the most creative provinces, citizens residing in Milan (4.103) stand out in first place, followed by residents of Rome (3.618) and Turin (1.334).
