Brembo: profit and margin growing, leap on the stock market

(Teleborsa) Strong growth in results for Brembo, at the appointment with the 2017 budget.

The big name in the sector automotive closed the year with a Net income of 263,4 million euros, an improvement of 9,5% compared to the previous year.

As for the margins, theEBIT scored a +5,7% to 346,3 million euros, theEbitda it rose 8,2% to 480 million.

Also the turnover, which stands at 2,463 billion euros.

A dividend of €0,22 per share is proposed.

The results of the fourth quarter alone are also expanding: I'Net income recorded an increase of 23% to 67 million euros, i revenues they jumped 8,2% to 611,6 million.

As for the outlook, "the data relating to the first few months of the year confirm a sustainable revenue growth trend", explains the company in a note.

The Chairman of Brembo, Alberto Bombassei, declared instead: “I also believe it is finally possible, after the long series of positive signals which continued also in the current year, to consider the return to growth of the South American markets in which Brembo operates from a perspective of greater stability”.

The reception from the market was more than positive: after the publication of the results, Brembo shares accelerated in Piazza Affari and are now up by 3,77%.
