At 13:35 Brazilian time, the Senate voted definitively with 61 votes in favor and 20 against for the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff. After 13 years, the era of the Workers' Party that began in 2002 with Lula ends.

The now ex-president, as well as his predecessor, were so hopelessly overwhelmed by the wake of the Petrobras scandal, which saw them both involved.
