Digital Workshops: Banca Ifis and excellent craftsmanship

The artisans of Italy have a new beating heart: it's called Doing Business Future, a showcase on the web which, thanks to the new site online for a few days (www.fareimpresafuturo.it), aims to share one of the key projects of 2016 with as many people as possible IFIS Bank: Digital Workshops.

#DIGITAL SHOPS

It is a project carried out by Banca IFIS together with Stefano Micelli, Professor of Business Economics at Cà Foscari, with Marketing Arena, a consultancy company in the social media and web marketing fields, and in collaboration with Maker Faire Rome, the most important innovation fair in Europe.

Botteghe Digitali aims to project into the future, thanks to the new technologies of digital manufacturing, some selected artisan companies. In this digitization process, the companies are supported by three coaches (Barbara Bonaventura, Laura Bortoloni and Nicola Zago) and by a team of eight specialists who will guide them in their choices.

A clarification is necessary: le selected companies are not customers of Banca IFIS nor is this the institute's interest in the project. The focus of Botteghe Digitali is to support deserving companies with an excellent product in their growth path. A path that accompanies them, through the mentoring of professionals in the sector, to establish themselves on the market and become profitable businesses, preserving the characteristics of Made in Italy that make them unique.

The evolution of the companies – LeFrac (Atri), Mobili Aresi (Bergamo), Occhialeria Artigiana (Bari) and Studio Cassio (Rome) – is followed step by step by the web and social story, made up of words, images, videos and diaries of edge: projects, fears, enthusiasm, traditions, know-how of every craftsman are the mirror through which the coaches know the company. Only with this knowledge are they able to identify which skills companies need to grow and become profitable. The talks with the coaches, the explanation of the trades of which the craftsmen are guardians are told by the protagonists in videos and images that want to show a world, that of craftsmanship, which deserves to be known, explored, told. The main storytelling tool is the website where the stories of the craftsmen and coaches converge, with live sharing of the contents posted on social networks thanks to the social wall.

In Fare Impresa Futuro YouTube channel the videos of the steps of the project find space, from meetings with the craftsmen to the impressions of the coaches, experiencing the places of know-how together with the protagonists. Emotions, images, products are the main contents on the other hand Instagram, also enriched with short videos that also visually tell the work and quality of the products created by the craftsmen.

Facebook and Twitter they are indispensable principals for sharing project moments, while LinkedIn hosts the "logbooks" of the coaches. In fact, every week, through LinkedIn Pulse, Barbara, Laura and Nicola entrust the web with the development of the project, the objectives of the companies, the satisfactions and difficulties encountered along the way.

Once the evolution from artisans to digital shops has been completed, companies will be protagonists, together with Banca IFIS, of the Maker Faire Rome 2016 (14-16 October). The factsheets and videos of the Digital Workshops are available in the press kit clicking here.
