Stock market: Enel GP flies, flat debut for Poste. Ctz auction: rates below zero

Stock market: Enel GP flies, flat debut for Poste. Ctz auction: rates below zero

In a panorama of weak European stock exchanges, Piazza Affari canceled the initial drop and the index at the end of the morning FtseMib salt by 0,3%. The Exchange of London instead it drops by 0,3% e Paris by 0,1%, while Frankfurt it is equal.

The change euro/dollar is unchanged from last night's close, at 1,105. This morning the chief economist of the European Central Bank Peter Praet assured that Frankfurt will reevaluate monetary policy without taboos to try to push inflation upwards: the euro slips to 133,09 yen from 133,08 at the close after a low at 133,05.

Historic day for Treasuries: for the first time the yield of an Italian government bond falls into negative territory. This is the fifth tranche of the CTz 30/08/2017 awarded today in the auction for 1,75 billion euro which was placed with a gross yield of 0,023%, down by 14 basis points compared to the previous auction. 

However, the negative rate did not discourage investors, who made requests for another 3,7 billion euro, raising the supply-demand ratio to 2,12, up from 1,71% in the previous auction. 

On the day of debut in Piazza Affari, Poste Italiane it is traded at 6,75 euros, the same price as the placement. 

The session was marked by the electric turning point: Enel (-0,33%) And Enel Green Power (+3,26%) confirmed that they had started the examination of possible corporate integration of EGP activities within the electricity group. The integration hypothesis, underlines a joint note, "does not envisage the execution of any public purchase and/or exchange offer on EGP shares by Enel". According to the latest Consob updates, Enel owns 69,171% of EGP.

It disappoints Luxottica, down 2,7% after that the results of the third quarter released last night. Net profit rose by 23% to 209 million euros on a turnover of 2,2 billion (+15.4%) But the managing director Adil Khan said that the so-called "rule of thumb" that Luxottica has respected continuously since 2010 and which he also confirmed for 2015 is not sustainable indefinitely. The rule is that profits increase twice as much as revenue growth.

In the rest of the luxury sector, exploits by Yoox (+3,3%): Goldman Sachs has included the stock in the Pan European Buy List. Moncler rises by 2,3%.

Industrialists on the rise: Finmeccanica + 2,2% Fiat Chrysler + 1,3% Cnh Industrial + 0,8% Prysmian +1,3%. It bounces stm (+ 0,5%). 

Down the oil, in the wake of the drop in oil, the third consecutive day of decline: Eni -0,7% Tenaris -0,5% Saipem -1%. 

Telecom Italy 0,1% salt, Mediaset + 0,9%.

The banks are positive: Unicredit + 0,6% Understanding + 1,3% MontePaschi + 1,9%. 

Asset management stocks also did well: Mediolanum + 1,7% General Bank + 2%.
