Outside Pirelli, inside Anima. Since yesterday, 2 November, the Ftse Mib has lost one of its blue chips and accepted another one. Following the outcome of the reopening of the terms of the tender offer launched by Marco Polo Industrial Holding on ordinary Pirelli shares which resulted in a free float of less than 5%, Bicocca left the main basket of Piazza Affari and exited the Stock Exchange. Its place in the FtseMib was taken by Anima Holding, an asset management company with a capitalization close to 2,7 billion euro.
At the same time, a change was also made in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index, where Anima was replaced by Del Clima.
However, the company's debut was not painless. The stock yesterday lost 1,9% to 8,755 euros, while it is currently losing 0,74 to 8,69 euros.
