Ipo bonus for SMEs: extension proposed until 2024

Ipo bonus for SMEs: extension proposed until 2024

The League presented an amendment to the maneuver for extend the IPO bonus for small and medium-sized enterprises by three years. The measure consists of a 50% tax credit, up to a maximum of 500 thousand euros, for consultancy costs relating to the listing of SMEs on the Stock Exchange.

An initial version of the proposed amendment provided for an extension until December 31, 2022. In the end, however, the text of the amendment filed in the Senate moved the deadline much further, at the end of the 2024.

The extension, obviously, entails a burden for the public coffers: in the event of the green light to the Northern League proposal, in fact, the IPO bonus would cost the State 30 million euros a year, to be financed through cuts to the fund for non-deferable needs.

Meanwhile, the government has released another billion to be allocated to the fight against high bills, which is added to the 500 million obtained from savings on Irpef and Irap and to the 300 million from unspent funds. The endowment against the increases will therefore rise from the initial 2 billion allocated in the maneuver to 3,8 billion, therefore close to the threshold requested by the parties, while the endowment for decontributions amounts to 1,5 billion.

The new billion to limit the expensive bills should flow into a government amendment – in response to the general strike called by the trade unions – and it is an indirect effect of the tax decree landed yesterday on the table by the Council of Ministers, which is worth about 3,3 billion euros.

Among other measures, for 2021 the spending authorization granted to Rfi was increased by 1,4 billion to cover investments for the traditional network. For the purchase of vaccines and drugs for the prevention and treatment of Covd-19, the amount will be 1,8 billion. Finally, just over 49 million will go to the police for public safety activities related to the containment of the pandemic.
