In 2011 Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, controlled by Bnp Paribas, achieved a gross profit of 502 million euros, an increase of 16,2% compared to 2010. Fundamental to this result was the attribution of a third of the result of private banking Italy to the investment solutions division. An excellent operating performance, if one considers that again in 2011 an important investment was made for the opening of 27 new agencies and 19 "Creo for the entrepreneur" centers but despite this, operating costs increased by only 1,7, XNUMX%.

In figures, the success of this operation sees the gross operating result increase by 3,9% to 1.311 million euro and a further improvement in the cost/income ratio, of 0,6pp, to 58,2%.

Further data for the fourth quarter see profit before tax at 102 million euros, up 10,9% compared to the fourth quarter 2010.

However, the difficult period for finance is also affecting the bank in via Veneto, which sees the cost of risk steadily high at 98bp throughout the year.
